Marie Hill Farmhouse
This home truly is a unique piece of Vermont history. You'll fall in love with the two beautiful turrets, boasting ornate cedar shingle work and a semicircular porch that were added to the home around 1900. The turrets will not only catch your eye, but they also create 4 gorgeous bay windows in the 4 rooms on the front side of the house. Original stained glass windows accent the architecture and detail work on the outside of the home, and on a sunny day cast an array of color on the inside. "MARIE HILL FARM" is written with natural slate tiles on the gables of the home, a tribute to the wife of a wealthy butcher shop owner from NYC that owned the home through the turn of the twentieth century.
